Hello everyone.
We went to a digital art exhibition to get some ideas for our future projects this time!
The exhibition is called “The World of Five Great Painters: Projected on the Huge Screens” and was held in Otemachi.
With the newest technology, those paintings were imported as 3D data and turned into digital art with 2billion pixels, which is super high quality.
“The waves are surging over us…”
The paintings projected on the screens were so powerful that we even said that to ourselves! 😮
The detailed lines in the Ukoyoe paintings and the little bumps from woodblock prints were even visible to our eyes.
We were drawn into the projection as if the people in the paintings were moving!
The exhibition has shown us that another form of fascinating artwork can be created by transforming analog paintings into digital.
We are determined to keep on improving our skills with the experience we had for the future.
